I'd like to question that cos I think someone has been doing a bit of moderation.

Now, if I'm not mistaken, Ceaser, I mean, PZ has deemed it necessary to remove a bit of history that brings his empire into discredit
Note well in the original Post 72 by CyprusSunLounger that he presented, clearly and without malice the information asked for by the likes of "GoDieInAFire" Wowbagger that more men visit Pharyngula than women. He also made the great prediction of his posts being removed - which should have been kept there and PZ could have saved some face by allowing it to stay
PZ a bit of advice - moderating a thread which you have said is not subject to moderation is a contradiction.
Secondly, free speech is very important in society, especially when living in a democracy. You stifle or remove speech you are no better than the creationists or the likes of Stalin - views, contrary to your own MUST be allowed to be heard. Because then the views are open to scrutiny and people are allowed to agree or disagree - without it you don't how can you progress and develop? You can't just keep the views you like and toss out the ones you don't - you'll end up stagnating and alienating yourself.
Christopher Hitchens was bang on right about this and this video is a great example of why you should allow people to speak freely.
Shame on you PZ, shame on you.
